Keith Kenny comes from a tight-knit family down in central New Jersey where his first memories about music were hearing his Dad play guitar. With a few simple songs, a couple guitar chords, and a raspy voice, Keith's Dad would usually come home from work and improvise a few lyrics about the day. Keith picked up guitar at age eleven and learned to play by jamming along with his Dad to these simple hometown blues. Although there was never an audience or a recording, these father/son jam sessions influenced Keith to write and record his own music.
After recording a five-song EP called "Keith Kenny" in 2005, Keith began performing as a one man band using "on the fly" loop sampling to create a full sound. With his ability to sound like a four piece rock band, Keith would perform his favorite classic cover songs such as Tool's "Sober" or AC/DC's "T.N.T". In 2006, The Home News Tribune & Asbury Park Press recognized Keith for his energetic performances and heartfelt original music. Word of mouth about this "one man band" has led Keith to perform at venues like The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, CBGB's in NYC, The 2008 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim CA, New Jersey's own radio station at 101.5FM, & Sports Radio 66 with Boomer Esiason & Craig Carton
In the Fall of 2007, Keith began recording his first full-length album entitled "Limit is the Sky" in which he is joined by musicians Tyler Chiara and Jonathon Luberecki. When the album was released in June of 2008, the power trio hit the stage in front of a packed house at The Saint in Asbury Park and will be performing throughout the rest of the year.

"Martina"

"I bought my Martin DX1 when I was 16 and fell in love with it.  It has a natural wood top with no laminate which makes it great for slapping like a drum.  It has been beat to hell after all the hours of playing and gigging with it, but it is still my favorite instrument.  The infamous name "Martina" came from people asking me if I had a girlfriend.  I'd always say, "Of course, She has a huge hole and lets me smack the shit out of her." Ha! Maybe I shouldn't have said that...... But anyway, that's the history behind my favorite piece of wood. "
